Bismillah.
It’s been a while since I posted my last entry. After came back from Budapest, there were loads of things to be settled. And just after 3 days I was back, I had to go out from Bosnia again to get a stamp from the immigration at the border in order to renew my visa. Actually I was supposed to get it during our previous trip to Budapest. But it happened that they just looked at it without get it stamped. So, the main purpose of going to Budapest, which is to exit and enter Bosnia to re-new my visa had not been achieved. That’s why we had to make another trip to Zagreb, Croatia. I hope you get what I mean.
Oh, let’s not go too far with that as I will write my journey to Hungary, Austria and Croatia later on.hehe. =)
What I intended to say here is about Women’s Day.
Sretan 8 Mart, to every ladies! =D
Yurp, it happened two days ago.
But here, it’s totally different!. Whoaaa! Come here quick! I’ll tell you chronologically, okay.. =)
First, while me and colleagues were having lunch, out of a sudden, the restaurant worker handed over each of us a slice of cake. Only girls. The same thing happened for the next table too. And then, more female staffs of the company came into the restaurant and took their seats And we ate that soft spongy chocolate cake together. Awww,so cute.. =) Feels like I’m in a girls school in the canteen during recess time! Hikhik~
Second, after finished eating cake, I went back to my department which is around 12.15noon. Then, the guys told me that the company is giving all the female staffs a half day today and we can go home by 12.30noon! I was like “Oh my! Oh my!” I’ll be home in 15 minutes?! They have got to be kidding me. Then, I asked others to confirm it and the next minute I found myself smiling widely while putting my laptop and files into my beg. Hey, hurry up,girls. The yellow bus is waiting for us! Hehe.
Third, as I walked down the street in the town on my way home, I witnessed that most women were holding roses! People were selling roses and flowers can be seen everywhere. I thought it was Valentine’s day or Teacher’s day. But it wasn’t. =)

Stores such as perfume shops and boutiques were also putting up discounts only for women on that day. =) Then, I dropped by at a convenience store to buy face powder. After I made payment to the cashier, she gave me a rose! I thought I was not going to get one and I was wrong. Ya Allah, bestnya hari ni! And that was fourth. =)
Then, I started to compare and think of why we don’t have this in Malaysia? Here it is celebrated widely and they see this women’s day as something rather important. In Malaysia, we do celebrate women’s day but just by exchanging wishes or at least post it as Facebook status. That’s it. That is it. There’s no a bouquet of flowers. No roses. Let alone giving half day working. But here, it’s like a big event. The streets are crowded with people and flowers. And I like it very much already though this was something first time for me. Siapa tak suka kan dapat bunga and paling syiok masuk kedai je dapat diskaun?? Hehehe =P Eh, I just realized that I had so many smile emoticon this time. I really am happy. =)
The whole world is a provision, and the best object of benefit of the world is the pious woman.
