Awaiting Guests

Bismillah.

Next week, I will receive guests from far far away, Bosnia. Yeay! Mr Šerif and Seida Mustafić  (remember the post on Sledging) are coming back to Malaysia, along with their kids, Davud and Delila, after 12 years they left Malaysia. They used to live in Malaysia for 8 years. I bet they have a pretty long list-to-do in mind. Tom yam soup! Durian! Seremban! And the list definitely goes on and on. hehe. I am feeling excited for them. Yeah, thinking how lucky for them to come back to their second home. Hey, I miss my second home too! Doesn't that count? :P

 Seida and Šerif

Oh, what bring them down here after 12 years?

Well, our well known architect, Dato Haji Esa Mohamed (who designed Kuala Lumpur International Airport etc) is a friend to them.

I met Dato Haji and his Bosnian Australian wife during Sarajevo Business Forum 2011.

And then, me and my friends and also Šerif and Seida, along with other Bosnian friends were invited by Dato Haji Esa for a dinner at Park Prinčeva.

Nice place, though.

Dato' Haji Esa was trying to get some camera shot and Šerif (in red shirt) was sitting next to him. And I was at the end of the table. :P

So, they are coming down soon to attend Dato Haji Esa's invitation on his daughter's wedding.
Aww..

Can't wait to meet them.

Any idea on where to bring them in KL? :)

  1. How exciting! I'm always excited when I have Bosnian guests (from Bosnia) coming over.., maybe more excited than my husband! Hehe... We moved into our own home maybe just a year ago! So far, we had 3 guests already.... Really fun to have people sleep in your guest room prepared especially for special guests ;) (new house owner mode!)... I guess for me when they come over, I feel like I am "home" ;) know EXACTLY how u feel

    1. Kak ilham, it's always nice to have guest coming over. And it is different and more exciting to welcome a foreign guest. It's like being an unofficial embassador to them, introducing local food, showing how to get here and there and stuff like that. hehe. Bet everyone are proud presenting their culture and backgrounds! ;D And we and Bosnian always make our guests feel welcomed and at home. That's the best. :)
